NETWORK FAQ 8: Issues when trying to WebDAV

QUESTIONS:
Why do I keep getting the prompt for username and password when trying to access my H: drive (home folder) using WebDAV?
ANSWER:
- You have an invalid WebDAV connection setup in My Network Places.
- Remove the invalid connection.
- Open My Computer.
- If you don't see My Network Places in the left menu of the My Computer
window, click Folders from the Standard Buttons toolbar.
- Select My Network Places from the left menu of My Computer.
- Select the connection that contains users.mercyhurst.edu.
- Click Cancel or No on any dialog that appears.
- Select Delete from the File menu.
- Click OK.
- You can now successfully connect to your H: drive using WebDAV.
- You are entering and invalid username and/or password. The username and password is your network/email username and password. If you don't know your username or password, contact the Help Desk.
